Flash Actionscript Programmer
Prospero has an immediate, full-time employment opportunity for an intermediate or senior Flash programmer willing to be part of the production team and help with the development of eLearning courses.
The qualified candidate will have solid, proven experience working in a sophisticated object-oriented architecture for the integration of menu, navigation, and content elements in a large-scale e-learning or marketing project.
You will have with considerable Actionscript 2 (and 3), Javascript and XML experience.
As a senior programmer, you can demonstrate an ability to create:
o custom classes for a variety of purposes.
o functions for backend tracking and communications (ideally for SCORM API communication with a learning management system).
o components and prototypes with documented code that can be turned over to less experienced Flash developers.
o programming solutions that are solid but not overly rigid.
The ideal candidate will possess:
o exceptional problem-solving skills;
o the ability to work in a corporate team environment under the leadership of a project manager and team lead.
o strong communication skills, including the clear, concise documentation of code
o an ability to perform under the pressure of deadlines, budgets and change requests
o professionalism, integrity, and a passion for Flash
Full-time position.
o Monday –Friday, 8:30am-5pm
o Working in our Toronto office at Bloor and Church
o Reporting to Director of eLearning
