Web Graphic Designer

Prospero is looking for full-time and contract web graphic designers to become part of our Toronto production team.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Provide creative direction for Prospero client projects. Assist in analyzing a client’s requirements and branding preferences to create graphical prototypes. Inject "life" into e-Learning storyboards by offering creative ideas and advice to enhance the instructional value with visual assets and interactive multimedia.

2. Design, develop, edit and track graphical assets and animations for Prospero's custom e-Learning courseware, including GUIs for learners, interactive learning activities and knowledge checks, character design and animation, icons, diagrams, photos, etc.

3. Participate in the production of Prospero's e-Learning projects as a Flash production artist, assembling interactive courseware using established architectures, storyboards, Flash components, libraries of code.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop for graphic design, and Adobe Flash for development.
• Be detailed-oriented and good with sticking to given timelines.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication in English

Experience with any of the following would be "nice to have":
• Web interface design
• Usability
• Animated characters (2D)
• 3D Scenery design

Candidates must be available to work ON-SITE.

o Monday–Friday, 9am-5pm
o Working in our Toronto office at Bloor and Church
o Reporting to Director of eLearning and assigned to a Lead Developer
