Learningworks Lite has something to offer all stakeholders. Click the tabs below to see what the starter edition of Prospero's LMS offers Learners, Managers, and Administrators.
For Learners, Learningworks Lite™ offers:
- Self-registration for a Learningworks Lite account. Administrators
may also pre-register learners so that users do not need to register.
- Secure log-in. Learners can log in to Learningworks LiteT with their
own unique user ID and password. If desired, Prospero can also arrange
for single sign-on access.
- A personal Home page to welcome learners with news or instructions, a
short list of assigned courses and resources available for launching, and
a snapshot of their personal transcript.
- A "My Courses" page listing e-learning courses for which the learner
has been assigned by virtue of their group memberships or personal
learning plans. From this page, learners may view their current
progress, access detailed course outlines, and launch online content.
- A "My History" page that offers learners a complete transcript of their
participation and performance in all e-Learning courses. Course
diplomas may be launched and printed from the My History page.
- A "My Account" page whereby learners may change their account and
contact information, as well as language preferences and security
questions and answers.
- A Resource Centre for exploring a library of online documents and web
resources made available to all learners or to specific individuals and
groups. Resources are organized into convenient search categories (such
as company policies and practices, quick references, tools and forms,
etc.) for quick access. A powerful search engine also enables learners to
find specific documents.
- Multi-lingual support. Learners can specify their language preference
and switch back and forth between English, French and Spanish
interfaces. The LMS can accommodate an infinite number of languages.
- Online help, which is available in a number of locations. Documentation
and tutorials, for example, are available from a Help menu. Learners
may retrieve forgotten user names and passwords, or contact an
administrator if they need assistance to self-register for an account.
For Managers, Learningworks Lite™ offers the ability to:
- Monitor and update individual learner profiles-including account
privileges, group memberships, course enrollments, personal learning
paths, and transcripts.
- Assign courses, news and resources to individuals and groups for
whom they are responsible.
- Generate summary reports on participation and performance for
learners, groups, and courses. All reporting is in real-time and can be
broken down to the level of detail the Customer requires. Reports can be
produced in PDF format and in Excel format for further manipulation.
For Administrators and other roles, Learningworks Lite™ offers the ability to:
- Preserve legacy data by uploading existing lists of groups, learners,
courses, and training history.
- Organize learners into groups that reflect the way your corporation
operates. Groups can be set up on the basis of organization charts,
geography, roles, competencies, or any organizing principle. Assign
learners, learning content, group news, resources, and managers with
access to the group's participation and performance data. Apply a
custom interface to each group so that learners will see familiar
branding upon logging in.
- Monitor and update individual learner profiles, including account
privileges, group memberships, course enrollments, personal learning
paths, and transcripts.
- Upload, configure, and manage learning content for e-Learning courses.
Prepare course outlines describing the course and its requirements.
Impose pre-requisites when necessary.
- Generate summary reports on participation and performance for
learners, groups, and courses. All reporting is in real-time and can be
broken down to the level of detail your organization requires. Reports
can be produced in PDF format and in Excel format for further
manipulation.
- Set up learning resources and reference materials (web links, job aids,
documents, etc.) that can be made publicly available to all learners or
only to learners assigned to specific courses and groups.
- Configure and maintain administration access and security permissions
for managers.
- Manage communications by broadcasting news and announcements.
- Access online help, which is available as documentation and tutorials
from the Help menu.
