For Learners, Learningworks LMS™ offers:
- Self-registration, a secure log-in, and personal profile and preferences.
- Self-enrollment for e-Learning, online assessments, classroom sessions, and blended learning programs with an approval process controlled by your LMS administrator.
- Views of their personalized learning path and certifications, and their progress through an individual progress report.
- The ability to send feedback to administrators and instructors, and to send and receive email notifications and announcements (e.g., completion notices, enrollments, instructions, etc.).
- Access to online resources, reference materials, training news and announcements.
- Participation in moderated discussion groups or forums.
- Access to Performance Reviews and other corporate forms. Learners may engage in an online dialogue with management about their personal performance objectives and assessments.
- Multi-lingual support. Learners can specify their language preference and switch back and forth between English, French and Spanish interfaces. The LMS can accommodate an infinite number of languages.
For Managers, Learningworks LMS™ offers the ability to:
- Monitor and update individual learner profiles, including account privileges, group memberships, course enrollments, personal learning paths, transcripts and the status of personal certificates.
- Track compliance and certifications over time.
- Assign courses, curriculums, news, forums, and resources to individuals and groups for whom they are responsible.
- Control wait lists and requests for approval to register for courses and classroom sessions.
- Create, assign, and manage the entire performance review process for individuals. Build and apply additional forms for monitoring and tracking.
- Receive email notifications of new registrations, approvals, upcoming renewals, and cancellations, among other things.
- Access performance and participation reports
- Generate summary reports on participation and performance for learners, groups, and courses. All reporting is in real-time and can be broken down to the level of detail the Customer requires. Reports can produced in PDF format and in Excel format for further manipulation.
For Administrators and other roles, Learningworks LMS™ offers the ability to:
- Preserve legacy training data by uploading existing lists of learners, groups, courses, classes, and training history.
- Organize learners into groups that reflect the way your corporation operates. Groups can be set up on the basis of organization charts, geography, roles, competencies, or any organizing principle. To each group, an Administrator can assign learners, learning content, news, resources, and managers with access to the group’s participation and performance data. Apply a different custom interface to each group so that learners will see familiar branding upon logging in.
- Monitor and update individual learner profiles, including account privileges, group memberships, course enrollments, personal learning paths, transcripts, performance reviews, and the status of personal certificates.
- Create templates and define process flows for Performance Reviews and other corporate forms.
- Upload, configure, and manage learning content for e-Learning courses, blended learning programs, and classroom-based courses. Prepare course outlines describing the course and its requirements. Organize courses into curriculums and individual learning plans, defining the sequence in which content should be taken and how much importance each course has in the overall learning plan. Impose pre-requisites and an approval process when necessary.
- Schedule individual class sessions, assign learners and instructors, generate roster lists, take attendance, enter grades, and student/ instructor feedback.
- Measure employee knowledge and opinions with Quizworks, the built-in test engine of Learningworks. Create optional pre- and post-tests, course and instructor evaluations, opinion polls and surveys, and certification checklists using a variety of question formats. Analyze the results in-depth with Quizworks reports.
